How to Make the Most of Your Day
Good morning friends, How do you start your day? Frazzled? Focused? Ignited? Unsure?
Well, if your days aren’t starting in the way that you wish them to, I invite you to consider one small shift.
When you wake, before you get into whatever activities begin your day, ask yourself “how can I make the most of today?” Actually, ask yourself that question right now. How can you make the most of today? Or, asked another way, at the end of the day, how will I know the day was a success? And you may want to think of this question in a few different areas: relationships, business, fitness etc.
Consider writing these down each morning. This will help you review at the end of the day, if you were successful, or not. And don’t judge yourself if not. Take it as a learning experience. What were the things that led to your success, or what were the things that arose as obstacles? Once discovered, you can scale the success strategies or find new strategies for the obstacles.
The other helpful component of tracking these questions and answers is that you’re able to discover patterns of obstacles or successes, and see the things that you have been “hoping” to achieve, but just haven’t seemed to be able to get done. It’s an interesting discovery-we often don’t recognize our patterns. We don’t see the things that keep us stuck where we don’t want to be, until someone else, or a journal/log, lays it out in front of you.
This is the perfect situation in which to reach out. Coaching is one of the most useful strategies I have found to help move through this “stuckness”.
Let’s make today a great day!
