Let’s Spring Clean your Wellness Routine!
PHEW! It has been a long Winter! For many folks, their health, wellness, and fitness just wasn’t where they wanted it to be. How about you? Are you looking to get back on track as the seasons shift?
I am doing a wellness coaching giveaway on April 2, 2025, for folks on my email list (subscribe via the pop-up or the footer below to be entered if you like).
Besides that though, I want everyone to have the opportunity to reflect on their routines and get things moving as we head into Spring!
Here are some questions to help you get started with your new plans:
1) What didn’t work over the Winter? What were the obstacles and challenges that got in your way? These aren’t things to beat yourself up over, but rather to reflect on and learn about what didn’t and likely won’t work for you.
2) What DID work? When DID you get to the wellness activities that you were after/when were you able to prioritize your fitness etc? Even if this was only for 1 day, look at what surrounded that day which set you up for success.
3) What do you want your wellness routine to look like? And, what does your current stage of life look like? How far apart are these two? This exercise will help decide what is realistic for you in terms of building your new routine. In the fitness space, sometimes people cite goals like running a marathon but are only actually able to dedicate an hour or two per week to this goal. It simply isn’t realistic. Either the goal must change, or that person would need to find more time to dedicate to this pursuit. So, what would be sustainable for your current stage of life?
4) Finally, we can do all the planning in the world, but if no action is taken, plans are useless. So, what is your action step for this week to get started? And for next week? And the next?
As always, cheering you on to get after those health, wellness, and fitness goals!
